A humorous portrait of the New York City’s most notorious performance artist Jon Cory (a.k.a. Rose Wood). Despite Jon's aim of overthrowing social norms by acquiring breast implants and becoming a “gender terrorist”, his 82-year-old Jewish mother is just as delighted with her son’s newest acquisitions as he is. What's in a name reveals a warm and daring perspective on the ambivalence of the human psyche through the portrait of an extraordinary character, who stands out in a city where average does not exist.
