Breathtaking aerial shots reveal the beauty of County Mayo, an apparently untouched area on the west coast of Ireland. But all this natural beauty is in danger: in 1996, a gas field was discovered right off the coast, and Royal Dutch Shell is itching to pump it dry. In order to get at the gas, the company plans to lay a pipeline directly through the fishing village of Rossport. The residents are up in arms, but the Irish government is offering Shell a carte blanche. That said, the authorities tactfully attempt to convince a fisherman to give up the battle. After all, fishermen are blocking the world's biggest pipe-laying ship with their little wooden crab boat. It's like David up against Goliath.

TORU
