Decades back, the early fishing generations could be often seen fishing with their ospreys on the Lijiang River at night. Unlike in those days when the ancestors fished to get food, today’s fishing scenes are more “artificial”. The fishermen’s new lifestyles and their fishing performances directed by photographers create man-made sceneries along the river.

Veel mõnikümmend aastat tagasi hankisid hiinlased endale toidukõrvast – kala – kormoranide abiga. Nüüd on kalastamine treenitud kormoranidega muutunud turismiatraktsiooniks, mis annab Lijiangi jõe kallastel elavatele inimestele päris kenat teenistust.
