What does it mean to lose your home? How does beginning one's life over from zero looks like? Where is the strength found not to fall into despair? Through the dramatic story of a family that has lost their home in fire, the documentary explores human being's ability to withstand an extreme challenge. In October 2008, the Kriauleidziai family house went up in flames. Evaldas and Zigfrina Kriauleidziai and their three-year old daughter Eligija, as well as Evaldas’ brother Gintautas and sisters Aiste and Edita were left without a roof over their heads. Their neighbour allowed the unhappy family to take a shelter in his empty house until the lost home is restored.

2008. aasta oktoobris põles noore leedu perekonna kodumaja maha. Evaldas ja Zigfrina Kriauleidziai, nende kolme-aastane tütar Eligija, Evaldase vend ning kaks õde jäid peavarjuta. Naabrimees lubas neil ajutiselt elada ühes tema tühjas hoones. Film jälgib ning uurib, kuidas inimesed elavad üle olukorra, kus tuli on hävitanud kogu nende maise vara
