An unbelievable family drama takes place in a countryhouse, close to the big seaport town Ventspils in Latvia. Young man Valdis is imprisoned for abuse and his sister Zanda lives on her own. Their  two kids grow without father. Too much alcohol and too little money are key causes of the constant arguments between Zanda, her mother, her stepbrother, and her neighbor. The kids are all waiting for Valdis who is their father and uncle at the same time. Zanda admits she can't let him down. At the same time, she also knows that she is in danger of losing custody of her children as a marriage between brother and sister is illegal. She wonders if her alcoholic neighbor might be able to offer her a better life. Maybe to escape with him for search of happiness?

PEREINSTINKT
