Dear Artist,
Hereby we invite you to the international art show MAN AND WOMAN. Pärnu is a small town of 55 000 inhabitants but because of our very warm beach and seaside, in summertime Pärnu becomes the capital of bathing and sunbathing. To be in style, we would like to continue a tradition of exhibiting beauty of human body in a form of classical and contemporary nude art.Therefore we invite artists around the world to participate in the opening of the next exhibition MAN AND WOMAN, on June 2, 2002, in the Museum of New Art, Pärnu.
Regulations for participation.
1. Mail color photos, slides or videocassettes at least from 5 of your artwork. Deadline for arrival of entries is May 10th, 2002, at 18.00. Paintings, graphics, sculptures, installations, textiles, ceramics, photos, videos,   films etc. may be entered. The international jury will select by May 15th which artwork will be included to the exhibition.
2. The artists of selected masterpieces will be invited to stay in Pärnu for the opening period of exhibition from May 27st through June 2nd. The organizers will cover the stay (hotel and board) of 7 days  in Pärnu. We suggest that the artists arrive with their artwork by May 27th. Those. who are unable to participate in the opening of the exhibition will be invited for another 3 days period for closing in August. During both periods a live sketching of nude models, plein air paintings will be held.
3. Transportation of artwork to the exhibition and back is responsibility of authors. Because of limited budget, the Museum of New Art can help with transport only in certain situations. The insurance is the responsibility of the artists. Our gallery is guarded around the clock by modern electronic systems and specially trained personnel.
4. A catalogue in English will be published for the opening.
